Engineers of laboratory MIT Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in collaboration with Microsoft Research experts have created output tattoos DuoSkin, which turn the skin into the user interface.
This project has both a medical and a technical component and aims to develop products and systems that can operate in the “framework” of the human body.
Innovation has tested on the performance and he found three methods of application.
The first option DuoSkin can be used as a touchpad, a button or the slider to control the mobile devices and the computer. A second version can respond to the human body temperature, and display his emotional state. Finally, the third type is able to store small amounts of data to be read by any device equipped with NFC-chip.
