Televisions, like smartphones, have long turned into impersonal devices – a rectangle with a thin frame. The only difference is that the supports, and the design of the bottom panel varies. Korean designers decided to bring diversity, showing a modern TV in retro style. Based in the model was a portable device Teleavia P111, released in 1966. It’s called the Teleavia Retro, and it’s a retro-futuristic TV. This minimalistic TV set is a flat screen machine with a retro inspiration and it goes with minimal furniture. This saves space and has a minimal stand for rest.
It is worth noting that the appearance of the original Teleavia P111 with a high-definition screen was developed in the late 50’s of the last century by designer Flaminio Bertroni, who worked on Citroen DS.
Inspired by retro style, Koreans from PDF HAUS realized the concept, borrowed features of futuristic TV of the past, and equipped him with modern technologies.
